During the last 10 years, Applied Business Consultancy Limited has carried out over 40 database health checks for organisations in the manufacturing, transport, logistics and leisure industries, as well as for central government. These health checks have included the review of SQL Server, Oracle and Rdb database environments in the UK, Spain, Holland, Malta and the United States.

Typically, a health check reviews four key areas - hardware configuration, operating system settings, physical database implementation and application code. At the discretion of the client, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Disaster Recovery (DR) and machine room reviews can also be included. A blunt report is provided within 48 hours of completion of the process.

All health checks are carried out by experienced and qualified Database Administrators (DBAs) with substantial application development experience.
