Proficiency

We have developed a variety of software applications for a wide spectrum of UK, European and North American audiences. The majority of our effort has been Microsoft orientated, using the C# language of Microsoft's .NET platform for the front end (for example, ASP.NET and Windows Forms) with SQL Server/Oracle/Access and MTS & COM+ at the back end.

We have also developed a variety of Internet, Intranet and Extranet applications (including Websites) for a number of UK, European and North American clients. We utilise state-of-the-art software tools including Macromedia DreamWeaver UltraDev, Microsoft Visual Interdev, Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and Adobe Photoshop.

We are proficient in Active Server Pages (ASP), ASP.NET (C#), PHP Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), HTML/XHTML/DHTML, XML, Vector Markup Language (VML), Extensible Stylesheet Language (XSL), Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), VBScript, JavaScript, Java, Microsoft Visual Basic and Component Object Model (COM+). Our staff are familiar with the Microsoft .NET platform.

On the database front, our Website developers are also knowledgeable and experienced in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Oracle Rdb and Microsoft Access implementations.

Multimedia Development

In addition to traditional application development, we have used Macromedia Director and Adobe Photoshop to develop multimedia applications for CDROM-based learning and multimedia marketing purposes. All our distance learning material is initially story-boarded and contains significant animation with usually several hundred professionally-recorded voiceovers. Gold and glass masters have then been cut once content has been approved.

It is our policy to insist on sensible application and database design before writing code and to apply project management control to every project we undertake.
